Glass is made from all-natural sustainable raw materials. It is the preferred packaging for consumers who care about their health and the environment. Consumers prefer glass packaging to maintain the original taste or flavor of the product and to preserve the integrity or health of food, beverages, and cosmetics. Glass is a widely used packaging material that is considered "Generally Recognized as Safe". It is also 100% recyclable and can be reused endlessly without loss of quality and purity. The products comply with Article 11 of EU Directive 94/62/EC and meet the requirements specified in the US TPCH. Colored glass containers, such as black, meet the heavy metal content requirements in our internal control glass packaging specifications and comply with the requirements set forth in the European Council Packaging Directive 94/62/EC and Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 of October 27, 2004; they also meet the requirements specified in the US TPCH. The total concentration levels of lead, mercury, cadmium, and hexavalent chromium introduced from mineral raw materials must not exceed one hundred parts per million (100PPM), with leaching of less than 0.1PPM, and there is no intentional introduction of these heavy metal elements.
